Coins

This collection covers over 2500 years of the history of coinage. The oldest coins date from the reign of Croesus (560-547 B.C.), the last king of Lydia in Asia Minor; the most recent are the euro coins. While one series of coins illustrates the history of money through the ages, the main part of the collection consists of coins used in Belgium.
