Collections

The National Bank’s collections were built up from 1950 with a view to creating a museum. They specifically focus on Belgium’s financial and economic history.

The collections comprise coins, iconographic documents, valuable books and archives, plus miscellaneous machines and objects. These collections form a remarkable, unique entity which can be used by researchers, museums, and exhibition organisers.
