Chinese tea tastings

With the help of the experts of the Musée de Mariemont, you can become a real tea connoisseur. Learn to recognize the colours and shapes of the tea-leaves and discover their scents. Enjoy the flavors of different types of tea and learn to improve your tea drinking experience.

FR – 17.30
NL – 18.30
FR and NL – 20.00
Max. 25 places per session

Yoga (kids friendly!)

Perhaps you feel it is time you tried a yoga session? In the sumptuous setting of the magnificent museum building yoga teacher Nathalie will guide you into different poses such as the downward facing dog pose, the cobra or the warrior pose. Two of the sessions offered are totally kids friendly!

Adult yoga – 19.00 and 20.45
Kids yoga (3-5 years old with parents) – 17.00
Kids yoga (6-10 years old without parents) – 18.00
Max. 30 places per session

‘Gastronomic’ tour

You can also follow the ‘gastronomic’ guided tour on which our guides will tell you everything about food once used as currency. Did you know for instance that a rabbit was worth 10 cocoa beans in the cultures of the Mayans and Aztecs?

FR – 18.30
NL – 17.30
EN – 20.00

On Thursday 5 December…

… we have a surprise for all children coming to the museum. Rumour goes that Saint Nicholas himself will make a stop at the museum on his annual tour around Belgium!
