This Saturday 28th May, the European quarter will be celebrated! On the occasion of the Europe Day, the EU institutions open their doors to the public. Many activities are organized: building tours, an interactive quiz over the 28 EU Member States, conferences, film screenings, photographic exhibitions, kids’ corner…
Every year, the Europe Day enables European citizens to visit the EU institutions and to find out how they work and which issues they are focused on. This year’s theme is ‘United in diversity”, which is the motto of the EU. The Museum of the National Bank of Belgium will also be present with information stand of the European Central Bank, where you can learn about the euro coins and banknotes and the Eurosystem. Printed and audio-visual information materials as well as give-aways will be at your disposal.
When: Saturday, 18 May from 10 am to 6 pm
Where: European Council and Council of the European Union, Justus Lipsius Building, rue de la Loi/Wetstraat 175, Brussels
