The National Bank is a major centre for the dissemination of economic and financial information of all kinds, such as copies of companies’ balance sheets, statistics, research papers, etc. It has one of biggest libraries in the country specialised in this area and it is open to the public.

It also offers specific services for teachers and schools in general, which are summarised under this webpage. If you have any suggestions or comments, do not hesitate to contact us.
The National Bank of Belgium’s museum was designed primarily for students of secondary school age and above. During the guided tours, which are free, the guide takes into account the requirements of the teacher and the educational level of the group. This is why specific information about this is requested when you make your booking. To help you to prepare for a visit to the museum, or to use as documentation for the classroom, you can download its educational pack by clicking on the link below.
In addition, for young visitors (nine years and over), the museum team has designed a lively game that helps children to get a better grasp of the museum in a way that is more appropriate for their age.
Last but not least, every year the National Bank organises specialised seminars for secondary-school Economics teachers, backed up with teaching material and basic information (also available here).
