Europe Day, 6 May 2017  Share

This Saturday 6th May, the European quarter will be celebrated. On the occasion of the Europe day, the EU institutions in Brussels open their doors to the public. Many activities are organized, such as various debates and guided tours inside the buildings. Don’t miss the opening of the House of European History, and contemplate the brand new Europa building, headquarters of the European Council and the Council of European Union.

Every year, the Europe Day enables European citizens to visit the EU institutions and to find out how they work and which issues they are focused on. This year’s theme is “60 years of European Union”, and commemorates the Treaty of Rome, signed in 1957.
