Open Day EU 2009

The Museum of the National Bank will participate in the Open Day of the Council of the European Union. On the occasion of Europe Day, which is celebrated each year to mark the anniversary of the 1950 Schuman Declaration, we invite you to come and see for yourself what the Eurosystem does.

When:

Saturday, 9 May from 10 am to 6 pm

Where:

The Council’s headquarters, Justus Lipsius Building at rue de la Loi/Wetstraat 175, Brussels

What to see and what to do:

• guided tour of the building;
• interactive information sessions on energy and climate change;
• information stands on different topics.

The European Central Bank and the Museum of the National Bank of Belgium will also be present with an information stand. It will consist of pop-up systems on the Eurosystem and on euro coins and banknotes. Printed and audio-visual informational materials will be at your disposal.
